Idaly, Dental Assistant

Idaly joined us in 2022 and we are lucky to have her.
She was born and raised in Washington County and graduated from Aloha High School,

She is an avid reader and has a goal to read 30 books per year. She loves to spend time reading while her 3 cats help her decompress after work. She might even turn on a little reality TV. Idaly is active in her church and is involved with music and youth programs.

Idaly looks forward to helping patients have a good dental experience with her kind and gentle demeanor. She enjoys interacting with patients and hearing the stories they tell.

Maria, Front Office Manager

Maria began her career with Dr Simonsen in 2015 as his EFTA dental assistant. For the first 8 years, she showed her ability to learn quickly and is a very capable dental assistant. When his front office manager, Caprice, retired in 2023, Maria stepped up to the plate and became the office manager.

You will find her up front most of the time, but she steps back into the clinic when things get busy. She is very capable and can help to get you scheduled and help to determine your dental benefits.

She has a husband, 2 children and 2 beloved chihuahuas. Currently, during her time away from the office, she is active with her family, church, and loves to relax watching some true crime shows. She was born and raised in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area. She loves traveling to Mexico to visit family when time allows.

Maria is passionate about cleaning and organizing everything. These qualities lend themselves well to working here. She really looks forward to seeing her coworkers and enjoying patients she has gotten to know over the years.

Lauren, Dental Hygienist

Lauren has worked with Dr Simonsen since 2019 and our patients are fortunate to have her care for their periodontal health. She has a gentle but thorough touch to her hygiene treatments.

She was born in Tennessee while her father attended seminary. She was raised in Twin Falls, Idaho and Astoria, Oregon and on to Bend. Lauren and her family like to visit Central Oregon often to visit family and friends. She is married and has two daughters. She is crazy about their labradoodle, Gerty.

With Family roots in Eugence, you will find her wearing a lot of Green and Yellow on game days. She and her husband are avid sports fans and spend a fair amount of time following the Blazers.

Lauren began her career as a dental assistant in Central Oregon with progressed to fulfill her dream to become a dental hygienist, graduating from Portland Community College.

She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them to improve their lives through improved oral health.
